It always feels quite epic to be able to take a photo of the American Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour. We didn’t dare to ask her any questions, as she sat in the front row waiting for the show to start. We got a smile out of Mrs. Wintour, so we are happy with that, perhaps next time we will be braver.

The fashion muse and Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker. We mer her during NYFW, as she was surrounded by the sea of photographers and journalists at the Prabal Gurung fashion show. We did manage to take this photo of Mrs. Parker, and asked her one question for MERCER7 mini Q&A series.

ITF: Only wear tights if you absolutely have to.

How beautiful does Rachel Zoe look? She was wearing the most stunning full length gown and fur coat draped over her shoulders. We took this photo of her, so we can vouch that she is just as lovely in person as she is on the photographs. PRABAL GURUNG FASHION SHOW AT NYFW A/W’17
What an incredible show – we saw Prabal Gurung collection during, New York Fashion Week, at Gallery 1, Skylight Clarkson Sq. It was beautiful, political and powerful. We loved that he had model’s walking down the runway who were different shapes and sizes, showing diversity and individuality. We loved the fact that he made a statement at the end of the show as all the model’s came out wearing t-shirts with different political slogans on them: “I am Rosa” “Revolution has no boarders” “I am an immigrant.” and other powerful phrases.
The finale ended with the designer in a t-shirt of his own: “This is what a feminist looks like,” printed on it. Now that’s how you make a statement! We left feeling totally inspired.

MILLY FASHION SHOW AT NYFW A/W’17
We loved Milly‘s runway show with menswear inspired silhouettes, intricate draping, stunning dresses and beautiful fabrics. The founder and creative director Michelle Smith created a collection that was personal, emotional and political all at the same time. “FRACTURED” was the title of Michelle’s fall’17 collection, and it was inspired by what’s happening in the world today: “It is how I have been feeling post-election,” said Smith. “Especially as a woman, I was feeling defeated.” Though despite feeling disappointment, “Fractured” was also about Smith projecting strength.

We attended DION LEE A/W’17 show and the whole collection was absolutely stunning. Beautifully crafted pieces, gorgeous accessories and easy to wear separates. We can not wait for the collection to hit the stores in September!
