FEATURING ZARA MARTIN AND WHINNIE WILLIAMS
In this season’s MERCER7 campaign we wanted to combine art, music and fashion by featuring talented musicians and models: Whinnie Williams and Zara Martin.
Whinnie Williams is a British singer, model and a DJ. Besides being passionate about her music; fashion and art has been a huge part of Whinnie’s career. Her 60’s beautiful look worked perfectly with MERCER7’s mood and ethos of timelessness.
Zara Martin is a model, renowned DJ’s and presenter. Together with Whinnie, they make the coolest DJ duo, and have been booked by the most prestigious fashion brands including Tom Ford, Chanel, Versace and Fendi to name a few. Zara’s rock’n’roll image was ideal for the iconic MERCER7 aesthetic.
The MERCER7 fashion film and the look-book campaign was art directed and styled by MERCER7 founder Erna Leon, who collaborated with the most amazing team of creatives. Zara and Whinnie were photographed by Simon Wisbey, filmed by Sian Davis and Tara Darby. Hair and Makeup was done by Tahira Herold using only green and natural beauty products. The photoshoot took place at the stunning Arts Building in Finsbury Park in John Jones London studios and Push PR HQ. The minimalist with an industrial edge architecture and models individuality and style, embodied the MERCER7 concept perfectly.
